Chazan Robert R. Frankel ז"ל served as chazan in our Kehilla for 40 years until his retirement in 1989. He continued to daven before the amud on special occasions until shortly before his petira on 26 Tishrei 5769. Chazan Frankel gave of his time freely to those who wished to learn from him.
